WeddingWire Couples’ Choice Award 2019

WeddingWire Couples’ Choice Award 2019

Joannie & I are very pleased to announce that we have received the WeddingWire Couples’ Choice Award 2019! This marks the fourth year in a row that we’ve been honored with this accolade from WeddingWire!

WeddingWire Couples' Choice Award 2019. Awarded to Michael Anderson Photography in Mounds View, MN.

For the 4th year in a row, we’ve been recognized by WeddingWire for our wedding photography.

It was just a couple of weeks ago that we were honored with The Knot “Best of Weddings” for 2019, and now we’ve received the official word for the WeddingWire Couples’ Choice Award 2019 too!

Neither WeddingWire nor The Knot has anything to do with selecting the winners. Selection for both of these awards is entirely based on reviews from real wedded couples. We’re very grateful that so many couples have shared their wedding experiences with WeddingWire and The Knot.

What Sets Us Apart

Many of our couples have told us after their weddings that they were most impressed by the way that Joannie and I “fit in” at their weddings. In all honesty, we’re just being ourselves. We treat them the way we would like to be treated.

To win the WeddingWire Couples’ Choice Award 2019, there’s certainly more to it than just being nice to our couples. They love their wedding photographs too!

While that’s probably a given, it’s nothing that we take very lightly either. Image quality and a great wedding experience are what it’s all about to us at their weddings.

Yes, we could take a lot less gear with us to a wedding, and I do mean a lot less, but then the quality of our wedding images would suffer. The amount of professional lighting and camera gear we use at our weddings might surprise you. Check it out at this link, I think you’ll be amazed. We pretty much cart around an entire portable studio to most of our weddings!

Joannie & I also take our custom built lighting cart (yes, we call it Lightning McQueen) to many of our weddings and to almost all of our engagement portrait sessions too. Yes, it makes a big difference when you use lights to enhance portraits. What’s scary is how many wedding and portrait photographers don’t.

Mike and Linda’s engagement portraits at the Rotary Nature Preserve in White Bear Lake, MN (above) are a great example of what we mean when. Even though it was a soft overcast day, in order to get good light into their eyes, some supplemental lighting was needed. We’re looking forward to their spring 2019 wedding!

Thank You!

One again, Joannie and I want to thank our couples for making receiving these awards possible. We’re looking forward to an exciting 2019 wedding year. Who knows, maybe a WeddingWire Couples’ Choice Award will happen for us in 2020! – M&J
