Anderson’s Client For Life Program

For over 30 years, whenever a couple selects one of our premium wedding collections, that lucky couple is automatically enrolled in our Client For Life Program!

Wedding photography is something we don’t take lightly. It’s been our area of expertise since we began to photograph weddings together. Joannie and I have been Minnesota’s husband-and-wife wedding photography team since 1986.

So to thank our brides and grooms for selecting us as their wedding photographers, they receive free studio portrait sessions for life! And, that also included free sessions on our annual North Shore Weekend too!

These portraits can be for any purpose from maternity and newborn babies, to kids and high school seniors, also pets, and family portraits too! Any portrait session that happens here in our studio, at Anderson’s Portrait Park.

No cost. Nothing. Zip. Nada. Free.

Portrait Photography for Charity

Now, there is one exception to the free portrait sessions. But it’s an exceptional exception!

Anytime we raise money for charity, we usually donate the session fee directly to the charity. When that happens as it does annually for our “Easter portraits with real bunnies” and “The Best Santa Experience” every year, we ask that you write a check to the charity.

At Easter, it’s the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf, and for Christmas, it’s Cystic Fibrosis. We pass your check directly on to the charity. Because they don’t have to pay a session fee, we give our Client For Life members free photographs to compensate them as our way of saying thank you.

It’s a win-win for you and the charity too! You get a tax deduction, a good feeling inside and some great portraits and the charity gets some much-needed cash to help their cause. Sweet!

Here are some of the hundreds of reviews that Michael and Joannie have received. They are from The Knot, Wedding Wire, Google, and more:

“Michael and Joannie were great to work with. They were incredibly flexible and everything ran smoothly and on time. One technical glitch even left me feeling more confident. Michael’s camera stopped working for some reason, but if you weren’t paying close attention it would’ve been impossible to notice. Joannie took over as the primary shooter while Michael swapped cameras with a spare.

They have clearly mastered the craft and are well prepared.”

“Despite our rainy wedding day – Michael & Joannie did everything they could to capture some truly amazing photos of our big day! I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t incredibly bummed that the weather just didn’t cooperate, but the Anderson’s kept my spirits up by finding every opportunity to sneak in some pictures outside when the skies cleared briefly.

From start to finish, they were professional, flexible, helpful and accommodating. They kept the day moving along – and were there to help pin on flowers, get everyone organized, etc. I truly appreciated their efforts in keeping everyone on track! I can’t thank you enough for photographing our wedding! Highly recommended!!”

Tony had this to say about their rainy-day wedding photography experience with Michael & Joannie:

“We have nothing but great things to say about Mike and Joannie with Michael Anderson Photography. They helped make our day so very special and memorable. They make you feel very comfortable and are so much fun to be around. Their pictures are unique and fun. We have so many photographs and memories to last a lifetime. We highly suggest using them for your special day.”

“When my wife Kate and I first talked about the notion of engagement photos I can’t say it was my favorite topic of conversation. The idea of being the center of attention and “subject” of anything had never been my idea of fun. Aside from the lifelong feeling I wasn’t photogenic to begin with and then being placed next to my supermodel of a wife I’m sure you can understand. But then I saw Michael Anderson’s body of work and felt if anyone could find my “good side” this artist could.

Da Boys!

When we met with him the first time I had a strange but welcomed idea of being at home with family versus a vendor. Michael was warm and inviting, professional but relaxed and provided a plethora of insight and support for our vision.

The day of our engagement session Michael was positive and complimentary and gave us helpful directions to ensure we obtained the best pictures possible. Michael was eager and willing to help us find new poses and backgrounds and had a creative eye that made his efforts look effortless. It was exciting to see him excited, as if we were somehow giving him an unexpected gift instead of the other way around.

“Phenomenal!!!

Not only were our pictures beautiful, but Mike and Joannie know how to take care of the “King” and “Queen.” We have nothing but great things to say about these two. They’re creative, fun, and good at improvising (it down poured so we didn’t get as many outside pictures as we wanted but they made it work!!!). They’re also really good at making the ring bearers giggle in case they’re being “naughty.”

“Michael and Joannie Anderson were so wonderful to work with, I wish I could go back to do it all again.

They made our special day go by smoothly and efficiently which can be hard with our group of friends. Everyone had a great time working with them on our wedding day, and we heard nothing but compliments on how awesome they were. They were truly able to capture all of the emotions of the day, I will be able to relive the day every time that I look at these photos.

I am looking forward to working with them again at my friends wedding this summer!”

“Michael Anderson Photography was one of our best choices in all of our wedding planning! For a reasonable price he took fabulous photos that are incomparable to other cheaper photographers photos.

Michael and Joannie put their full effort into every aspect of the job from making sure events were on time to keeping the bride and groom happy. We were more than pleased with the pictures when we saw them! We are having so much trouble choosing which ones to print because we love them all! Great service and high quality photos.”

“Phenomenal!

Michael Anderson was a delightful person to work with both during our engagement shoot and during our wedding day. He was forthcoming with ideas for pictures and was accommodating to specific requests without hesitation. Not only did he produce a wonderful photo montage but he was able to provide our pictures in less than two weeks time.

…and Ali & James said this about their winter wedding:

“Simply Amazing!

Mike and Joannie were amazing to work with! From my first meeting with Mike through the entire process, Mike was attentive and detailed. He not only captured every picture I wanted but also came up with creative additions to the set.

“Michael Anderson and his wife Joannie make a great photography team. They were a great addition to our special day. Not only do they take incredible pictures to document this important day, but they have the experience to know how to run everything smoothly and keep everyone on track.

Michael was very professional and kept the whole wedding party on task so we could be on time. Joannie was amazing to hang out with she was like an extended family member who had my best interests at heart. I felt like she was there to take care of me on this very stressful day and make sure the pictures were amazing.

We are extremely happy with our pictures and with how well the day went with them at our sides throughout the whole event. I wish I knew more people getting married so I could tell everyone to use them.”
