Leopold’s Mississippi Gardens Wedding Photos
This will be the first installment of Corey and Ashley’s stunning Leopold’s Mississippi Gardens wedding photos. Their wedding day was yet another amazing one for Joannie and me to be a part of. 2018 has been another great year, with many fantastic weddings, and we’re not through yet. We still have a few to go, right up until the end of December!
As you can see, Ashley and Corey are a really cute couple. They are also a really fun couple, with three fantastic kids, great families, and a lot of very nice friends. Add to that a fabulous venue like Leopold’s Mississippi Gardens along with peaking fall colors, and it could only be awesome! And it was!
Amazing Venue
The first of Corey and Ashley’s Leopold’s Mississippi Gardens wedding photographs were of the many wedding details that they incorporated into their day. Several cute signs, lots of pretty decorations, and nice little touches were everywhere. This was already building towards a great wedding day, and we were literally just getting started.
While I was capturing the wedding detail photos, Joannie was already in the pretty bride’s room with Ashley and the girls. We would photograph Asley’s stunning wedding dress and her accessories next. The pretty hallway just outside of the bride’s room was the spot. Since he hadn’t arrived yet, Corey would be held “in check” outside until we could make sure he didn’t see the dress.
The First Look and Much More
Once everyone was ready to go, Corey’s first look was up next. It was a fun first look, with both of them really enjoying the moment with hugs and laughter. We went straight into portraits of the two of them with the pretty fall colors as their backdrop. It’s such a pretty spot for wedding photos.
If there was anything to complain about on this fall Saturday, it would be the wind and the chilly temperatures. It was in the mid 40’s, but the wind was pretty strong all day long. It made for many goosebumps, especially on Ashley and her bridesmaids. So whenever we could, we had them go inside and warm up. The ladies really toughed it out very well.
Despite the cool temps, both Ashley and Corey wanted to go with outdoor photos as much as possible. I can’t blame them, the fall colors were just too nice to pass up.
Down by the Mississippi
We found that the windy conditions were a little better down by the river. So the whole wedding party and the family photos were all taken down there. There’s a cute bridge down there too. While it wasn’t exactly summer-like, it was a bit warmer than up at the top of the hill.
Much More to Come
We’ve put together a cute music video with many of Corey and Ashley’s Mississippi Gardens wedding pictures from the first part of their wedding day. We’ll have “Part Two” ready in a few days, and another cool light painted wedding photograph is in the works too.
In the meantime, thank you for reading our post and have a great one! – M&J
