Jack – The Class of 2020
We hope that you’re all doing well and staying safe. To say that this is a challenging time in our lives is certainly an understatement. That being said, this is a particularly tough time for our kids, especially for high school seniors. Their whole senior year is something that we might have seen in a movie plot, but not in real life.
That brings us to our good friend Jack. Jack is a member of the Class of 2020 at Irondale High School in New Brighton, MN. We’ve known Jack literally since he was born. Jack and his family live right across the street from us.
Jack loves to play basketball. Even before all this Coronavirus stuff, I had wanted to use my photography skills to do something special to commemorate our neighbor’s senior year. With all the “stay at home” free time lately, I got my wish, and then some. This blog post showcases those special images.
Last Fall
Back in the fall, I photographed the majority of Jack’s senior portraits at Silverwood Park in New Brighton. I wrote about that a while back, here’s the link to those great senior photos. Jack, his mom, Gwen, and I had a great afternoon together and resulting senior pics turned out really great!
The five images that are featured in this blog post were created in the studio on our green screen. The resulting senior photo composites were really fun for me to create for him. I hope they can bring a smile to Jack, his family, and the rest of his classmates at Irondale.
I’m working on three more images that were photographed at night, right across the street in their driveway. I’ll be sharing those in the days to come. In the meantime, I hope you’ve enjoyed these cool senior photos and we thank you for reading our post. – M&J
