Steve and Katie were married last August 3rd on a spectacular wedding day at the Church of St. Timothy in Blaine, Minnesota.

It’s always an honor to be asked to photograph a wedding for someone. Joannie and I love that couples trust us to capture their wedding day memories all these years. It’s the ultimate honor to be asked to do the wedding photography for a close friend and Joannie and I are thrilled that Katie and Steve asked us to do that for them.
Katie is like family to us. And now Steve is too! It’s even cooler than that is they are expecting a baby girl – ANY DAY NOW! She will be family too!
Now, about nine months later, we have Katie and Steve’s wedding album design for you to enjoy!

Wedding Album Design

The next two page spread in their wedding album design features some candid wedding moments of Steve and Katie right on the front lawn at St. Timothy’s. It was just a picture perfect day weather wise! Katie looked so cute (Steve, you cleaned up pretty well too) Joannie and I just loved Katie’s dress. It totally fit her personality perfectly.

Wedding Party Photos in Anoka, MN
Anoka, MN is one of my favorite wedding and portrait photography areas in the Twin Cities area. We take photographs there many times throughout the year for high school seniors, kid’s and engagement portrait sessions too. With one great photo op after another, Joannie and I could spend a whole day with a wedding party in downtown Anoka and no one would get bored! Oh, and did I mention that there are a few bars in downtown Anoka? We’ve heard that wedding parties tend to gravitate to those!
The images on this two page spread show our bride and groom along with their entire wedding party near the Rum River by an old historic feed supply. Despite the terrible winter we just experienced, I’m pretty sure that if we had enough food (and beer) we would still be there with the boys in this wedding party! This was one fun loving wedding party!

We made our way into downtown Anoka for some “urban wedding” street photography and these boys and girls didn’t miss a beat. A couple of the boys were a bit distracted, but we managed to gather them together for a lot of really great wedding photographs.

Because they were “good boys and girls” we let them visit Billy’s Bar & Grill for some “milk and cookies” if you know what I mean. Really a fun time there in Anoka, I wish we had more time, but there was a wedding reception and dance to attend with even more fun to come.

Majestic Oaks Golf Club Wedding Photos
So off we went to Majestic Oaks Golf Club in Ham Lake, Minnesota for the reception, dinner and dance! These two pages of their wedding album design sporting the cake cutting and toasts.

Then we have Katie and two fun wedding photos of the bouquet toss and the recipient Katie’s sister Meghan. Lastly, there’s Steve, the newest member of the World Famous “Card Club Kid’s!”
