Highlights from The Best Santa Experience at Santa’s Workshop!
This installment from “The Best Santa Experience at Santa’s Workshop” features several more cute kids having a lot of fun with Kris Kringle at his “southern workshop” built at our home portrait studio in Mounds View, MN.
Isabella’s First Christmas
First up is cute little Isabella. This will be Isabella’s first Christmas and she’s off to a great start in celebrating with Santa Claus himself! This little peanut is just adorable and her images and music video do not lie.
Kira, Austin and Saint Nick
Miss Kira and her bother Austin also stopped by to pay a visit with Santa Claus. They brought mom, dad, grandma and grandpa along too! Grandpa was working on Santa for something shiny with four wheels while he was chatting with Santa. I’d be interested to see what’s under the tree at their house in a couple of weeks!
Mr. Easton and his adorable sister Morgan
These are two of my favorite kids on the whole planet! I’m not just saying that because dad’s a police officer (no I haven’t had a speeding ticket). Just like Isabella, and also Kira and Austin, Joannie and I had the pleasure of being mom and dad’s wedding photographers. I’ve also been Easton and Morgan’s portrait photographer since they were born.
Easton and Morgan are so sweet, very polite, and obviously super cute too! And like all of the kids that came to visit Santa this year, they can now call Santa Claus their personal friend. I can tell you that the world would be a much better place if there were more Easton’s and Morgan’s in it.
Phillip and his little sister Campbell
Our closing twosome for this blog post is Phillip and his sister Campbell. At just 11 months old, Campbell wasn’t so sure about this whole “Santa Claus thing”, but we did manage to capture some pretty cute images of the little lady. Phillip is a normal two-and-a-half-year-old boy, he pretty much wanting to play with every toy in Santa’s Workshop!
Santa’s Workshop for Cystic Fibrosis
“The Best Santa Experience” featuring “Santa’s Workshop” and “Storytime With Santa” themed portraits help us to raise money to fight Cystic Fibrosis. Our Session Fee of $75 (or more) was donated entirely to Cystic Fibrosis, with our generous clients writing their checks directly to CF.
In addition, Joannie & I are donating a portion of their custom print orders, holiday portrait gift items, and custom storybooks to Cystic Fibrosis as well. It’s our small way of helping to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.
Our godchild, Lindsey, has Cystic Fibrosis. In October of 2016, Lindsey received a double lung transplant at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis. We’re very pleased to report that Lindsey has recuperated very nicely and is enjoying life again with her new lungs.
Once again this year, all of the monies we raise this year will be given to Cystic Fibrosis in Lindsey’s honor. Let’s hope they can find a cure for CF soon!
During each fun-filled Santa photo session, all of the kids got to visit with Santa Claus in his workshop for about 30 to 45 minutes while reading books, working on toys, singing songs, reading the “Naughty & Nice List”, and hanging out with Kris Kringle. Santa also gave presents to each child, and there were treats for young and old alike to enjoy. The following week, we had Santa return for “Storytime with Santa.” It was a ton of fun, and we’ll have more to share from those sessions too in the days ahead.
“The Santa Experience at Santa’s Workshop” photographs will be cherished for generations to come. – M&J
