The 3 Ten Event Venue Wedding Photos
Joannie & I would love to share some of The 3 Ten Event Venue wedding photos from Clint & Kaia’s very wintery wedding day on December 1st! Their Faribault, Minnesota wedding was right in the path of the winter storm that day. The storm was pretty much hit the bullseye because when we left late that night, our vehicle had many inches of snow piled on top.
When you watch their cute highlight video below, The 3 Ten Event Venue wedding photographs you’ll see first are of some the pretty decor and then of Kaia and the ladies getting ready. The 3 Ten has a nice loft for the girls to prepare in, and another great room for the guys too. The guys had Pac Man, foosball, and other games right there in their room.
Clint and the Boys
While the girls were getting ready, we spent some quality time with Clint and the boys downstairs. It was right about then that the heavy wet snow started to fall. And fall it did (sideways, most of the time)! We kept everyone inside to stay dry and out of the strong winds. We actually did venture outside later on and we’ll talk about that in a bit.
I really like the images we captured at the cool bar they have at The 3 Ten. For some reason, the guys really liked being at the bar. I’m not really sure why? The images we created of Clint and his adorable six-year-old daughter Alexa are especially cute!
Because of the blizzard, it turned out that the bar would be the location that Joannie and I would create their cool light painted wedding photo. We will have much more on that in another post coming soon.
Kaia and The Ladies
We finished up with the boys and turned our attention the Kaia and the girls. But not before Kaia had three first looks. One with her grandma, then her dad, and followed by her mom, all upstairs in the ladies loft. There was certainly some tears of happiness along with lots of love and hugs!
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!
About the time that we were finishing up with Kaia and the girls, the first hotel shuttle was slowly pulling up with some of the wedding guests. It was time to hide Kaia and get ready for their wedding ceremony.
Due to the weather, the ceremony would have a late start as we waited for the final shuttle to make its way through the heavy snow. Once it did arrive, it was wedding time! What a pretty wedding too!
At the conclusion of their ceremony, we assembled both families and the wedding party for photos during the social hour. Once we had that all taken care of, it was time to go outside and “play” in the snow!
Let’s Have A Parade
The original plan was that the wedding party was going to ride on a parade float during the Faribault “Winterfest” Parade. But the parade had to be rescheduled because of the winter weather. Think about that for a minute.
At any rate, family and friends had made the float, and by golly, we were going to use it! So everyone that wanted to brave the weather, suited up and went outside with our newlyweds in the blowing snow for pictures on the float! It really was pretty fun! They had sparklers for everyone and despite the howling wind and blowing snow, it was something totally unique that created wedding memories that none of us will ever forget.
Well, we hope that you’ve enjoyed The 3 Ten Event Venue wedding pictures from Clint & Kaia’s snowy wedding day. We’ll have more to share in the days to come. In the meantime, here is the first of two highlight wedding videos.
Enjoy and have a Happy Holiday season! – M&J
