Solar Arts Building Wedding Reception
Here are some of our favorite images from Casey and Cassie’s Solar Arts Building wedding reception in Minneapolis, MN. Their fantastic wedding reception came on the heels of their pretty wedding at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Maple Grove, MN.
When Joannie and I arrived, we got to work capturing their pretty decor. In their highlight music video found at the bottom of this post, you’ll find several Solar Arts Building wedding reception photos of that awesome room. Of course, there are also quite a few fun images of Casey and Cassie, as well as images of their wedding guests having a great time too!

The Wedding Party
Because it was such a hot day, we hadn’t taken any outdoor photographs of the wedding party up to this point. Well, that was about to change as we took them outdoors for some great photo ops, in the shade, right next to the building. These are some of my favorite Solar Arts Building wedding reception photographs, their wedding party is a fun group, that’s for sure!

That wasn’t the last time that we’d be outside on this warm June day. Joannie and I also took Casey and Cassie outside one more time just after their first dance as the hot sun was setting. More on that later.
The Grand March and Much More
The Grand March was up next and Casey, Cassie, and their wedding party made the most of it! They all enjoyed hamming-it-up as they entered the room and the crowd enjoyed it too!
A really wonderful dinner followed. It was seriously one of the best wedding meals we’ve ever had! Kuddo’s go out to Chowgirls, the caterers, for a truly delicious dinner.

There were several great toasts to Casey and Cassie made during dinner that made everyone laugh. That was followed by a really pretty (and pretty tasty) dessert bar, complete with a Smore’s Bar! Nice!
That leads us to Casey and Cassie’s first dance as husband and wife. Then Cassie danced with her dad, and then Casey with his mom. Then the dance floor was wide open to everyone! What a great way to celebrate such a cute couple!
The Finale
Right after their first dances, Joannie & I snuck Casey and Cassie outside for some nice images in the pre-sunset light. The area all around the Solar Arts Building is quite busy on a Saturday evening. There are people coming and going in cars, on bikes, on trains (yes, there are train tracks very close by), and on foot! It made for some really fun urban wedding photos with our newlyweds!

Just One More Thing
I’ve put together another fun music video from many of Casey and Cassie’s wonderful wedding reception pictures. Still coming up is their one-of-a-kind light painted wedding photograph. It was created in a most unusual location at the Solar Arts Building. We’ll share that with you once it’s completed.
