Sheraton Minneapolis West Wedding Photos
Here are many more of the beautiful Sheraton Minneapolis West wedding photos from Jeff and Lucía’s wedding ceremony and reception held on Saturday, June 16th. These two are such a cute couple and their wedding day was really wonderful to be a part of.
This is actually “Part Two” of their wedding day celebration. In “Part One”, we shared some getting ready photos as well as Jeff’s first look and all of the family and wedding party formals. Joannie and I created all of those images at the beautiful Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chaska, MN. Even though it was raining for much of the afternoon, we were able to make some awesome wedding photos at the Arboretum.

Sheraton Minneapolis West Wedding Ceremony
That brings us to their actual wedding ceremony. Thankfully Jeff and Lucía had an indoor wedding ceremony. Because the rain had now stopped, the sun was out, and the heat and humidity were, shall we say, uncomfortable to say the least. When Joannie and I left the Sheraton, after 10 pm, it was still 88 degrees outside with a dewpoint in the mid-seventies. Crazy!
The main ballroom was beautifully decorated for their ceremony. Their very personal wedding ceremony was full of sweet moments including Jeff’s dad, Kirke, playing the guitar and singing “First Corinthians”, a song that he wrote. And Jeff’s brother, Tom, sang it with him during the lighting of the Unity Candle.

Before you knew it, Jeff’s uncle, the Reverend Matthew Bersagel, was introducing Minnesota’s newest newlyweds!
After the ceremony, many of the Sheraton Minneapolis West wedding photographs you’ll see in their highlight music video are of friends and family taken during the social hour in the hotel atrium. Everyone had a great time! But the fun wasn’t over yet. A wonderful reception, dinner, and dance followed back in the beautiful main ballroom.

Joannie and I captured many of the fun moments that they will look back on and enjoy forever. Including the pretty decor, the Grand March, the head table, toasts, and the totally full dance floor! The DJ started off the dance with a few songs for all of the kids that were in attendance. It’s very safe to say that the kids were having a lot of fun!

The First Dance
For their first dance as husband and wife, Jeff’s dad played the guitar and sang “Unchained Melody” and “I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You”. Kirke was accompanied by Sue Severson on the keyboard. Sue also provided the pretty music at their ceremony too!
