Minnesota Landscape Arboretum Wedding Pictures
Joannie and I would like to take this opportunity to share some of Jeff and Lucía’s Minnesota Landscape Arboretum wedding pictures with you. Jeff and Lucía were married last Saturday at the Sheraton Minneapolis West Hotel. Early in the afternoon, we also made a photo stop at the beautiful Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chaska, MN.
After getting ready at the Sheraton, both families and the wedding party headed to the beautiful Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. We created all of their formal wedding photos there. Jeff also had his first look with Lucia there as well.
Rain, Rain, Go Away (again)!
Just as it was for Jesse and Stephanie’s Elm Creek Park Reserve wedding a couple of weeks ago, we had a very, very wet start. It pretty much rained all morning and well into the afternoon. Then, after all of the rain, the heat and humidity skyrocketed off the charts! In hindsight, I think that we were actually blessed to have the rain. It kept the temperatures at a much more bearable level.

We arrived at the arboretum in a steady rain. So it was our job to figure out somewhere to take the photos while still keeping everyone dry. I really didn’t want to work inside of a building. It’s just too pretty there to be stuck inside.

The location was a tight squeeze, so we only did close-ups, but it did work out pretty well. The rain did finally stop, so after the family and wedding party photos “under-the-roof”, we set out to work in one of the beautiful gardens at the Arboretum.

These are the type of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum wedding photographs that Jeff and Lucía envisioned when they reserved the Arboretum back in early May! The added bonus, the rain made everything “greener” and the sidewalks and walkways had a nice sheen to them. Very pretty!
