Rush Creek Golf Course Wedding – Part One
Grant and Christine were married last Saturday in a beautiful Rush Creek Golf Course wedding ceremony, reception, and dance!

Their wedding is a great example why we are wedding photographers in the first place. A really fun and loving couple, nice families, a fun loving wedding party, an awesome venue, and the opportunity to capture it all for a lifetime of great memories for all of us!
Mother Nature gave us a break too as Spring was finally, actually in the air!
Joannie and I have been truly blessed; the vast majority of the hundreds of weddings we have photographed in our careers have been just like this one. A big thank you to all of you for selecting us through the years to do just that for each of you.
A Very Special Wedding
All weddings are pretty special. But you should know that this wedding was extra special to Joannie and myself. We’ve known Christine since she was a little girl! Our daughters Jen and Michelle danced with Christine for many, many years. We are honored that Christine and Grant would trust us to capture their wedding day for them!
In fact, this is the first of three “close and personal” weddings we have in the next few weeks as another longtime friend and dancer Tawnya and her fiancé Adam are getting married on May 31st! Then two weeks later, Sara is getting married to her fiancé Tony on June 14th. Sara was our daughter Michelle’s college roommate at Augsburg College.
We have the honor of photographing all three of these special girls’ weddings! Nice!

We start Grant and Christine’s wonderful Rush Creek Golf Course wedding day with everyone getting ready at Christine’s parents home in Ham Lake, MN. The girls upstairs and the boys downstairs. We’ve got many fun images of them preparing in anticipation of their first looks.
The first of which was Christine’s dad and brother got their first looks in the beautiful foyer. Christine entered down the winding staircase to Chuck and Andy. Very cool moment.
From there it was time for Grant to see “The Queen!” This would be done outside in the backyard. The beautiful, sunny Spring day made for a really great outdoor first look for these two.

Then we were off to Rush Creek Golf Course for the rest of the wedding festivities! Christine and the girls would put her dresses on here to keep them from getting wrinkled during the ride.
