Mayowood Stone Barn
I had so much fun at Derek and Lydia’s Mayowood Stone Barn wedding that I had to post another great wedding photograph from it! Yes, Derek & Lydia get back-to-back wedding photography “Images of the Day”! I just love the Mayowood Stone Barn in Rochester, MN!
The grounds at Mayowood are absolutely fantastic for great wedding photography. The barn itself is a great structure both inside and out. There are some old horse stables that have been converted to host weddings and events. Thay made for some awesome wedding photo backdrops. There is also a cool swing under a huge oak tree.
The cool rock wall near the main road is where the wedding party photo below was taken. I love both the wall and the wooded background too. The wedding party made the signs so why not use them at a pretty cool location.
This was a great way to spend the eve of my birthday. At a great event with a fun couple tying the knot at a pretty venue. Thanks for a great day Derek and Lydia!
