The Christmastime Story of Four Cousins and their Santa Claus Portraits for 2016!
This adorable foursome arrived for our encore Heirloom Santa Claus Portraits wearing their super cute Christmas pajamas! Two sets of siblings, seven-year-old twins Brooke & Brianna and their two cousins Taylor & Drake brought their moms, Shari & Amanda and their Grandma Patti along to witness all of the fun!
Elf Joannie & Elf Michael had the pleasure of photographing both of these ladies weddings, Shari & Derek’s in 2004 & Amanda & Jeff’s in 2007.
The girls had a marvelous time with Santa Claus! Drake wasn’t so sure about the whole Santa Claus thing, but for the most part, I think he had fun with his cousins and with Santa Claus too! Drake really started to enjoy himself when his cousins decided to tickle him! Eventually, that led to tickles for Santa too!
Santa Claus read “The Night Before Christmas” to the kids and then he shared some of his “Santa Magic” with them. First with his magic toy bag and then with his magic book. Santa has granted Elf Michael his permission to capture his magic pixy dust for some of the finished photographs later on too! Like this one:
Joannie & I would like to thank Patti for her generous donation to Cystic Fibrosis and to Shari & Amanda for sharing this wonderful experience with your sweet kids and with us too! It was an honor to be asked to pose with your beautiful kids and Santa Claus at the conclusion of your time with Santa. Thank you!
Our 2016 “Storytime with Santa Claus” themed portraits helped us to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis this year. Our Session Fee of $75 was donated entirely to Cystic Fibrosis, with our wonderful clients writing their checks directly to CF.
In addition, Joannie & I will be donating a large portion of their custom print orders to CF as well. It’s our small way of helping to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.
Our godchild, Lindsey, has Cystic Fibrosis and just in late October, Lindsey received a double lung transplant at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis. We’re happy to report that Lindsey is now home from the hospital and is recuperating very nicely.
So this year, all of the monies we’ve raised this year will be given to Cystic Fibrosis in Lindsey’s honor. Let’s hope they can find a cure for CF soon!
During each fun-filled Santa photo session, kids got to visit with Santa Claus for about 30 minutes while reading books, singing songs and hanging out with Kris Kringle. Santa gave presents to each child and there for treats for young and old alike to enjoy while they were here.
These 2016 Heirloom Santa Portraits will be cherished for generations to come. – M&J
