Church of the Assumption Wedding
We have Michael and Julie’s wonderful Church of the Assumption wedding photos to share with you. What a fantastic wedding! With a cute couple, a stunning wedding venue (Michael’s favorite church in the Twin Cities), fabulous weather, great families, and a really nice wedding party, it all adds up to a great wedding day!

The First Look
Joannie and I began their Church of the Assumption wedding photography outdoors on the pretty grounds just outside the church. Michael and the guys made their final preparations there and a short time later Michael and Julie had their first look there as well.
After their first look, we created a really nice sequence of bridal portraits of our future newlyweds. All of this before even setting foot inside the church! Afterward, we moved inside to the altar area for family and wedding party photos. We were even able to sneak an ultra-wide image of Michael and Julie to showcase the wonderful architecture at Church of the Assumption.

Going To The Chapel…
Then it was time for these two to get married! And Michael and Julie’s wedding ceremony was really beautiful. In a place of worship as stunning as Church of the Assumption, how could it not be?
Upon its conclusion, we had Minnesota’s newest newlyweds in our midst! Then, all of their wedding guests gave them a bubble send-off on the front steps of the historic St. Paul church. Fun!

The Wedding Party at Indian Mounds Regional Park

Joannie and I lead the limo to nearby Indian Mounds Regional Park for a photo stop with the whole wedding party. We were able to create a lot of fun wedding party photos at this stop. We concluded with a lot of great images of Mr. and Mrs. Brixius with the St. Paul skyline in the distance.
