As a husband and wife wedding photography team, 2012 was one of the most satisfying wedding photography years we’ve ever had. Lot’s of outdoor weddings and yes, some of them were just a touch on the hot side. And we had a couple on the other end of the thermometer too! There were many great wedding reception locations, not to mention the incredible Hawaii Destination Wedding experience on August 1st!

The image we have here is a wonderful wedding photojournalism image of Matt and Katie sporting a very useful umbrella prop! After this very wet Saturday, we hardly had another drop of rain the rest of the year at our house and our lawn looked the part!

A wonderful old red barn, a beautiful wedding setting, the best “little house” for a bride to get ready in that we’ve EVER seen (photographically adorable), lots of very scenic beauty and finally a really cute outhouse! Never thought you would ever hear that in a sentence did you?
