This is the first of three highlight music videos from Willie and Brittany’s wedding on the big island of Hawaii. All three contain a combination of wedding photos and short video clips from Brittany and Willie’s beautiful Hawaiian wedding. Their entire wedding was held at the Hilton Waikoloa Village in Waikoloa, Hawaii.
We don’t get to create wedding photos in Hawaii every day, so we’re going to share their awesome Hawaii destination wedding photographs in three separate videos.

Hawaii Destination Wedding Photos
“Part One” begins with the portraits of family and friends taken the day before their wedding. It was a very sunny day in Hawaii (not too surprising is it?) which brings a set of lighting challenges for any type of portrait photography. To combat the harsh light, we set up for these pre-wedding family portraits in the shade. We also use some of our Canon Speedlites to enhance the lighting.
We found a quiet, shaded area at the Hilton Waikoloa Village out front of our hotel tower. It worked out very well with nice light without hard shadows. There is no shortage of pretty locations at this beautiful resort on the big island of Hawaii.
The Hilton Waikoloa Village is huge! It has everything from secluded beaches, to its own dolphin area, several restaurants, and it’s own train to get you from one side of the resort to the other. It’s truly an amazing place.
The video continues with wedding photos of both Willie and Brittany getting ready on the actual wedding day. There are also some pre-wedding portraits of the guys and the girls. We take you right up to the wedding ceremony itself.
