Amy and Justin’s Awesome Graves 601 Hotel Minneapolis Wedding Album Design.
Well’ it’s been a few months since these two newlyweds got home from their honeymoon and we got busy and made their album selections. Now it’s time to show off their wedding book design! They’ve chosen a Finao® Flipbook as their book of choice and we start with their cover design which will be printed on metal! Very cool.
This image is featured in our website gallery Wedding Photography Before and After. It’s a compilation of two images and some heavy lifting in the “removal of stuff in the background” department!
The Graves 601 Hotel has some pretty interesting design touches sprinkled throughout the property. The ballroom features two back-lit blue glass walls at each end of the room – dramatic, yet elegant. The room is wrapped in rich Paldao wood which complemented by multi-level lightboxes within each unique glass design. Here we have their first-page layout showcasing some of their formal portraits in the ballroom.
We start out the first full two page spread featuring the “King and Queen” getting ready with the groomsmen and bridesmaids. We follow that up with Justin’s “first Look” at Amy’s really beautiful wedding dress.
The next spread is filled with family moments and fun candid wedding photographs.
This two page spread has many great images of their “tiny” wedding party!
Cosmos Restaurant Wedding Photos
More fun wedding day moments and the wedding party at the bar in the Cosmos Restaurant at the Graves 601 Hotel. Can’t believe they wanted to go to the bar. 🙂
Graves 601 Hotel Minneapolis Wedding Ceremony
Next, we have their ceremony itself. I think everyone will agree that it was a rather short and sweet ceremony.
Well, on this wedding day Mother Nature made some of the location decisions for us. Mid 90’s, very high humidity and winds in the 30 mile per hour range made for a mostly indoor day of wedding photography. Adapting is the name of the game when you are wedding photographers. So we saved all of our outdoor moments for after the ceremony. Thankfully the wind actually settled down a bit by then.
Shopping Wedding Photos
Then we went “shopping!” Well, not really, we made a quick stop at the Len Druskin Outlet store. The story here is that while working at a Len Druskin store they met each other for the first time in front of one of the dressing rooms! You just never know who you’re going to meet and when?
A little time by themselves (with Michael and Joannie of course).
Well, that was enough fun away from the hotel and all the partying, so it was time to head back for the Grand March, reception and dance.
The finale.
Hope you enjoyed reliving their awesome wedding day in it’s finished album form. Thank you, Amy and Justin! Joannie and I are honored to have been your choice to capture your wedding for you and look forward to our lasting friendship!
