Jon and Lisa’s Calvary Lutheran Church Golden Valley MN Wedding
The spring wedding season just got started out with a bang! Jon and Lisa were married on Saturday in a really beautiful ceremony at Calvary Lutheran Church in Golden Valley, MN.
Their wedding day started out pretty shaky with moderate to heavy rain in the morning. But by mid-afternoon, it was really nice outside! Before the rain cleared out, Joannie and I were able to create some really nice family and wedding party photographs in and around several different areas at Calvary Lutheran. That was followed by Jon and Lisa’s really wonderful wedding ceremony.
Following their ceremony, the weather turned for the better. That gave Joannie and I a great opportunity to create some really awesome wedding party photos in downtown Minneapolis, MN on the Mississippi Riverfront near the Guthrie Theater and by the Mill City Museum.

Jon and Lisa had a fantastic wedding party! They were all so they nice to work with, took direction really, really well and ran with it too! They were as good as it gets. Thank you guys, you made our job really fun!
From there we were off to the Minneapolis Marriott City Center and one of the most beautiful receptions you’ll ever see! The flowers, table place settings, and decorations were just stunning! A great dinner, really awesome cake (my favorite) and a full dance floor all night long. It made it very easy to create great wedding photographs!
