We’ve got yet another adorable Santa Claus portrait session to share with you. This time, we’ve got Easton and his little sister Morgan, who dropped by for their 2016 Portraits with Santa Claus!
As you can see, these are two really cute kids! They’re actually mini-me’s of their parents. Joannie & I crack up watching these two and how much they’re just like mom & dad.
Joannie & I had the honor of creating mom & dad’s (Nick & Amanda) wedding photographs back in 2010 and I’ve been Easton & Morgan’s kid’s photographer since they were born. Actually, that’s been the case for every single Santa Claus portrait session this we did this year. That’s a pretty cool honor for us to be sure! Thank you to all of you for your continuing friendship!
Last Saturday was a crazy day here at our home studio. During most of the 2016 Portraits with Santa Claus sessions, I barely left the camera room. When one session concluded, I would reset everything, making sure that Santa was ok and that we were ready for the next kids that were almost always here already. Elf Joannie would greet everyone as they arrived and I would say hi once the camera room was ready to go once again.
Well, when Easton & Morgan arrived, mom was the only one with them, but a few moments later the doorbell rang. It was dad. Easton couldn’t contain himself when he saw that his dad was there! It was so cute to witness. Dad, a Fridley Police officer, was on duty and able to stop by and watch his kids have fun with Santa. I’ll never forget the look on Easton’s face when he saw his dad was there. It was priceless.
It was nice to have the added security (wink) while Santa was here. During the session, I kept wondering what my neighbors were thinking. They knew that Santa Claus was here and then all of sudden, there’s a Fridley squad car in our driveway! Funny!
Well, we’ve got one more 2016 Portraits with Santa Claus session to share with you in the next day or so. That one will feature three cute cousins, Logan, his new baby sister Lainey, and their cute cousin Brynlee. In the meantime, please enjoy the really entertaining highlight music video from Easton and Morgans 2016 Portraits with Santa Claus! – M&J
Heirloom Santa Claus Portraits Raising Money for Cystic Fibrosis
Our 2016 “Storytime with Santa Claus” themed portraits helped us to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis this year. Our Session Fee of $75 was donated entirely to Cystic Fibrosis, with our wonderful clients writing their checks directly to CF.
In addition, Joannie & I will be donating a large portion of their custom print orders to CF as well. It’s our small way of helping to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.
Our godchild, Lindsey, has Cystic Fibrosis and just in the last few weeks has received a double lung transplant at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis. We’re happy to report that Lindsey is now home from the hospital and is recuperating very nicely.
So this year, all of the monies we’ve raised this year will be given to Cystic Fibrosis in Lindsey’s honor. Let’s hope they can find a cure for CF soon!
During each fun-filled Santa photo session, kids got to visit with Santa Claus for about 30 minutes while reading books, singing songs and hanging out with Kris Kringle. Santa gave presents to each child and there for treats for young and old alike to enjoy while they were here.
These Heirloom Santa Claus Portraits will be cherished for generations to come.
