The Best Wedding Vendors in Minnesota!
These are some of the “go to” people in the wedding business in Minnesota! They are some of “The Best Wedding Vendors” in Minnesota. The people and places that we’ve enjoyed working within our more than 30 years of wedding experience as Minnesota’s Husband and Wife Wedding Photography Team!
They are wedding-related businesses that have the same winning attitude towards your wedding that we do! They strive to give their best every time at every wedding. No exceptions. The added plus is that they are all really nice people and fun to be with too!
When you visit them please mention that Michael & Joannie Anderson sent you!
In no particular order, these are some of The Best Wedding Vendors in Minnesota:
The Saint Paul Hotel in St. Paul, Minnesota
The Saint Paul Hotel is far and away Michael’s favorite wedding and reception venue in the Twin Cities! Mary Jo Maloney and her staff are as good as it gets when it comes to pampering a bride and groom on their wedding day! The Saint Paul Hotel will not disappoint!
They even make sure that the photographers have what they need to take care of the bride and groom. Just awesome!
A.B. Rich Films in Cottage Grove, Minnesota
We’ve worked with Brad & Amberleigh Rich more than once over the past couple of years. We are more than impressed by their “brides-side manner”, the number of camera’s and cool “toys” Brad plays with and even more importantly with the highlight films they produced after the wedding! Really, really impressive stuff.
Click on this link to view Brad’s Vimeo Channel and witness for yourself Brad and his magic. I would recommend a box of tissue nearby. Brad also created the wedding video for our daughter Michelle & her husband Ben and it’s something we will treasure forever!
Long story short; A.B. Rich Films has it all going in the right direction!
Photo Booth Creations out of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota
Here is another one of the best wedding vendors that’s works harder than you can imagine at your wedding! At one wedding we worked with Matt, he even created a “custom” wall complete with frames and furniture for our wedding couple!
Matt Stillmunkes at Photo Booth Creations is one of those people you will just love working with!
Forever In Bloom in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota
Shelli Debeilzan has an amazing talent in the flower biz. Just give her an idea or two and “poof” your floral dreams come true! Joannie and I have known Shelli for many years and she never disappoints!
She will be the florist for both of our daughters’ weddings. Trust us, if she’s good enough for our family’s weddings (and she was) she’s good enough for yours! We can tell you first hand that Shelli is defiantly one of the best wedding vendors in the Twin Cities.
No website, just great flowers! Call her home-based business at 651-481-1166 or her cell at 651-503-8044.
Golden Valley Golf and Country Club in Golden Valley, Minnesota
Another really wonderful wedding reception location. About as pretty as it gets too! The Golden Valley Golf and Country Club is style, beauty and elegance all rolled into one. This not only one of the best wedding vendors in Minneapolis, it’s one of the prettiest ones too!
Tom Rubenstein and his staff pay very close attention to all the details! You won’t be disappointed. Check out Tawnya & Adam’s wedding highlights and you’ll get a pretty good idea of exactly what we mean.
Target Field in Downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota
It was our friendship with Harmon Killebrew and his wife Nita that led us to our relationship with Target Field back in 2010. We had the honor of being selected as a Target Field Events Preferred Photography Vendor.
As one of the unique ballparks in all of Major League Baseball, it’s always a treat for Joannie and myself to photograph any type of event at Target Field! Target Field is really one of the most unique and best wedding vendors in Minneapolis, MN.
Give Target Field a call at 612-659-3587 and tell them that Michael & Joannie sent you!
The Harvest Grill Event Center in Coon Rapids, Minnesota
In the North Metro, The Harvest Grill Event Center at Bunker Hills Golf Course in Coon Rapids is a wonderful meeting and wedding venue. For golfers, “Bunker” as we call it, is still one of the best conditioned (and challenging) public courses you’ll ever play.
Opened in 2011, this beautiful clubhouse is great for meetings and weddings of all sizes from small to large. The food is great and the building and people are terrific!
Our daughter Jen and her husband Ben had the honor of being their first ever wedding! They took very good care of us, and they will do the same for you too!
Posh Bridal
Our daughter Michelle said “Yes To The Dress!” at Posh Bridal. As a dad who was there when it happened, I can tell you that the experience we all had there was nothing short of amazing! They were so nice and so attentive to her wants and needs, they’re super fun and so very caring too!
Casablanca Orchestra
We bumped into this really wonderful show band a few years ago at the wedding of Tom and Megan Carr at 317 on Rice Park Event Center in downtown Saint Paul, MN.
If you want your guests to stay all night long, get all hot and sweaty and enjoy every minute of it – THIS IS YOUR BAND!
Here’s some info from their website: “CBO has toured regionally and nationally for more than 20 years and has developed a magical chemistry that you must see and hear. CBO consists of seven vocalists, two keyboardists, guitar, bass, drums, and a three-piece horn section, giving you a spectrum of groove from a big-band sound to small raw combos. CBO will tailor their show to fit your needs; be it a corporate event, wedding, fair, festival, theater or nightclub”.
These guys and gals are really, really talented musicians. Check out Casablanca Orchestra. You’ll love ‘em!
Cakes From Grace
It’s funny where life leads you sometimes, isn’t it? We met Becky Hunt of Cakes From Grace because of our friendship to the now famous (to us at least) Kelly McDyre, and our dear friends Nita and Harmon Killebrew.
Becky has a mission in life that was brought on because of personal tragedy; the loss of her infant daughter due to a heart condition. Her story follows taken from their website:
Gracia Lorraine Hunt is the inspiration of this organization and the reason Cakes From Grace, Inc. was started. She was born on August 2, 2012, with a severe Congenital Heart Defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. Gracia (also known as Gracie) lived 82 wonderful days on this earth and will forever be loved and remembered. This organization is her legacy and we will always share her story to raise awareness about Congenital Heart Defects and to give hope for those who have lost a child.
Though we are a nonprofit organization we do make cakes for non-heart families that want to support what we are doing. All proceeds from these cakes will go directly to funding for cake donations and Congenital Heart Defect Research. If you heard about what we are doing and how amazing Cakes From Grace cakes are and really want one of our cakes and be able to help fund and support what we are doing, please fill out the form on our Contact Us page or email info@cakesfromgrace.com.
If you are inquiring about a Wedding Cake, we would love to make an amazing cake for your special day, before you contact us, please know that we are not a licensed bakery, we are a nonprofit organization.
Her story is sad, yet wonderful and heartwarming. We would love it if you can order cakes and cupcakes from her whenever you need something special and VERY tasty. Try the Guinness cake with Bailey’s frosting. It sounds kind of weird, but since Joannie and I tried it, nothing in the cake world (the one world other than Disney World that Michael really loves) really comes close. It’s tremendously dense, moist and addicting. You will not be disappointed. YUMMY!
