Dellwood Hills Wedding Reception
It’s time to share Linda and Mike’s wonderful Dellwood Hills wedding reception photos with you! Their pretty wedding day got off to a fantastic start at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church in White Bear Lake, MN. It was at St. Mary that they shared their first look. That was followed by lots of great wedding party and family photos. And then most importantly, they got married!
After leaving St. Mary, Joannie and I met Mike and Linda in downtown White Bear Lake at the cute gazebo on highway 61. After a quick stop for some fun wedding photos of our newlyweds, we headed off for their fantastic wedding reception at Dellwood Hills Country Club.
Joannie and I got underway capturing images of their pretty decor both inside and outside the main ballroom. It was really beautiful! Our wonderful florist friend, Shelli DeBilzan of Forever In Bloom, did all of the floral decorations. And as always, it was fabulous!
Run Forest, Run!
All throughout the building, there were photo memorabilia from all of the races that Mike and Linda have run in together. It was even more impressive when we found out during their speeches that when Linda met Mike, she told him she hated to run!
When Mike and Linda arrived at Dellwood, we headed outdoors for some pretty Dellwood Hills wedding reception pictures of the two of them, and then the whole wedding party. What a great spring afternoon it turned out to be! It was so fun to work outdoors once again after the “fun” winter we just had.
Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me
Dinner was fast approaching, so it was back indoors for Dellwood Hills wedding reception photographs of the Grand March, several great speeches, and their cake cutting. Then, a short time before the dance got underway, we slipped outside at sunset for a few pretty wedding photos of Mike and Linda on one of the tee boxes.
We’d be returning to that area a little later on to create another one of our one-of-a-kind light painted wedding photos once their dance got started. We’ll be sharing that stunning image in a few days once it’s completed.
Dance, Dance, Dance!
After the sunset photos, it was time for dancing to some great live music performed by a bunch of very talented musicians and singers; who were all friends of our newlyweds! What a great way to celebrate the union of two really cool people.
A big thank you to Mike and Linda for asking Joannie and myself to be your wedding photographers. We had a great time with you guys and we’re looking forward to a long friendship and to creating a pretty cool wedding album with you guys once you’re ready. Thank you very much! – M&J
