Our first annual “Portraits with Santa Claus” was a huge success!
This fun event was attended by more than 25 kids and many of their parents and grandparents came along too! Everyone got lots of private time with Santa Claus! Joannie and “Uncle Mike” had cookies, brownies, juice boxes and treats for the kids and the adults too!
When each of the Portraits with Santa Claus sessions concluded, Santa presented each child with a special coin that said “I was caught being good” on it. He also gave each one of them their first candy cane of the season too! Lastly, Santa was kind enough to present each one with a gift bag from Joannie and Michael.
Santa Photos for Ralph Reeder Food Shelf
All of our clients donated their $75 session fee (and sometimes more) to help us raise money for the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf in New Brighton, Minnesota. Because of our efforts and our wonderful client’s generosity, we brought in more than $1100 during our one-day Photos with Santa Claus event! Thank you to all of you!
One of our little ones who came to meet Santa Claus was happy little Claire, an adorable five-month-old little lady who has been to “Uncle Mike’s” studio before as a newborn! She’s just a cute now as she was back then!

One of the things that concerned us with having Portraits with Santa Claus was that not all kids warm up to meeting St. Nick. It’s pretty much a given that kids can be scared of this jolly elf. Well, not Miss Claire! She had a blast with him! She could not have been any happier to be there and her portraits with Santa Claus certainly show that!
