The Knot “Best of Weddings” award for 2017. This marks the 8th time in the last 10 years that brides and grooms have chosen Joannie & Michael Anderson for this honor. Thank you!
To receive The Knot Best of Weddings 2017 award, brides & grooms write reviews about their wedding vendors. Of course, the review needs to be a positive one. The better the reviews the better your chances of winning the “Best of Weddings” award in your wedding category.

As one of the best Minneapolis wedding photographers, Michael and Joannie Anderson have been selected as winners of The Knot Best of Weddings award in 2008, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and now once again in 2017! That’s eight out of the last ten years!

“In 2008, when Joannie & I won for the first time, the award just “showed up” in a package delivered to our studio. We didn’t even know how we won it! But from that day on, our goal has been to win it every year! And we’ve been pretty successful at it too! Only missing out in 2010 and missing by just one vote in 2012.”

In 2014, The Knot upped the ante. Only the very top wedding professionals could win the award.
Now in order to win The Knot Best of Weddings, wedding vendors needed twice as many reviews compared to previous years. And those reviews had to exceed the average ratings for both your market and your wedding category.

According to The Knot, less than 1% of local wedding vendors on The Knot Wedding Network received the award in 2014.
The requirements in 2017 remained just as challenging as the last three years, and Joannie & I are very pleased to have been selected once again for The Knot Best of Weddings 2017.
