Here are Aaron & Christina’s Rice Park engagement portrait highlights!
On this past wintery Tuesday afternoon, we toured different parts of downtown St. Paul including the ice rink by the Landmark Center and The Saint Paul Hotel and we finished under the pretty holiday lights as the finale to their Rice Park engagement portraits. Nice!
Christina’s mom brought their dog Lance downtown to be included in some of their Rice Park engagement portraits. I must say that being a Husky breed, that Lance was probably much warmer than all of us were!
We let Lance play in the snow while taking a walk with his owners. Lance was right at home in the white stuff! After the “puppy” photos were completed, Aaron & Christina donned their ice skates and took a little skate at the cute downtown St. Paul ice rink. It was a bit crowded on the ice, but I think we managed to capture the essence of a fun winter skate.
While they were taking their ice skates off in the warming house, I set up across the street for the night images in the beautiful holiday lights of Rice Park.
The image above is a great example of the winter holiday magic that Rice Park engagement portraits can hold. It makes you feel all warm inside, doesn’t it?
Joannie & I will have the honor of creating Aaron & Christina’s wedding photographs on a much warmer day (we hope) in early October 2016! We’re very excited for their outdoor wedding ceremony at Vadnais Heights Commons in Vadnais Heights, MN. Hopefully, the fall colors will make for another picture perfect day!
Enjoy the little highlight music video we’ve put together and have a safe and Happy New Year!
