Magical Heirloom Santa Claus Portraits of Miss Riley!
Riley is like most kids, somewhat “uncomfortable” with the idea of hanging out with Santa Claus. In fact, we found out that Riley didn’t even want to get out of the car when she and mommy arrived our home studio.
It took some gentle encouragement, but Riley eventually approached Kris Kringle with her mom close to her side. The first several Santa photos had to have her mom in there too. But after Santa surprised Riley with some orange jelly beans that appeared from inside his “magic book” (orange is Riley’s favorite color), Riley started to warm up to the idea of having her portraits taken with Santa Claus!
Storytime with Santa Claus for Cystic Fibrosis
Our 2016 “Storytime with Santa Claus” themed portraits helped us to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis this year. Our Session Fee of $75 was donated entirely to Cystic Fibrosis, with our wonderful clients writing their checks directly to CF.
In addition, Joannie & I will be donating a large portion of their custom print orders to CF as well. It’s our small way of helping to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.
Our godchild, Lindsey, has Cystic Fibrosis and just in the last few weeks has received a double lung transplant at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis. We’re happy to report that Lindsey is now home from the hospital and is recuperating very nicely.
During each fun-filled Santa photo session, kids got to visit with Santa Claus for about 30 minutes while reading books, singing songs and hanging out with Kris Kringle. Santa gave presents to each child and there for treats for young and old alike to enjoy while they were here.
So this year, all of the monies we’ve raised this year will be given to Cystic Fibrosis in Lindsey’s honor. Let’s hope they can find a cure for CF soon!
These Heirloom Santa Claus Portraits will be cherished for generations to come.
Here’s a cute music video we’ve created from Riley’s Heirloom Santa Claus Portraits. Enjoy! –M&J
