Elk River High School Senior
You know it’s springtime, or at least getting there, when our thoughts turn to baseball. Well, Sam’s Elk River High School senior portraits definitely have a baseball feel to them. Even last fall, when we created most of them, I met Sam and his mom at the baseball field in Elk River, MN for the majority of his senior photos.

It was a sunny and windy October day when I met them at the baseball field. Thankfully Sam has short hair because it really was windy! We did a number of “action” shots in both of his baseball uniforms right there on the field and in the dugout.

Downtown Elk River
After we left the ball field, we headed downtown to create more of Sam’s Elk River High School senior photos. These would be the non-baseball, street clothes variety, although Sam did slip his on basketball jersey for a few senior pics.
The Score.
Sam’s girlfriend, Makenna, joined us and we attempted to get some images of the two of them, but it was so windy that it was almost impossible to keep her hair looking good. I had Lightning McQueen along to battle the sun, but even Lightning can’t do anything about the wind!
Green Screen Senior Portrait Composites
Spotlight on senior year.
A few weeks after Sam’s on-location session in Elk River, he dropped by the studio for a little fun on the green screen. As you can see, we photographed Sam in action wearing both his baseball and basketball uniforms. I recently finished Sam’s senior portrait composites, and so it was time to share them!
