Best Wedding Photographs of 2012 – Continued

Some of the Best Wedding Photographs of 2012

As a husband and wife wedding photography team, we get to experience some great weddings together and this is yet another great one! Here’s a two-page spread from the Red Wing, MN destination wedding of Mikey and Dani.

This is one of my favorite wedding party images I’ve ever taken! Maybe it’s because I was a model railroader when I was a kid, but this wedding party image turned out exactly the way I envisioned; thanks in no small part to the great cooperation of the wedding party! Right there on the train tracks in historic downtown Redwing, Minnesota. Toss it around in Photoshop with some minor retouching, add in some contrast and grain, reduce the color and there it is; awesome! The inserted kissing image is just plain fun!

Graves 601 Hotel Wedding Photos

From Red Wing to downtown Minneapolis just a block away from Target Field at the very cool Graves 601 Hotel! Here are images from the May 26th wedding of Katie and Matt in the lobby of the Graves 601 Hotel, a silhouette of the bride and groom taken in one of the hotel’s beautiful restaurants and yet another great wedding image of the groomsmen at one of the Graves 601’s funky bars!

Midland Hills Country Club Wedding Photographs

We have another wedding album spread showcasing Matt and Katie at their wedding reception. It was held at Midland Hills Country Club in Roseville, MN. Here we’ve got some fun wedding photojournalism images and a panorama of the whole wedding party all with their umbrellas in the rain. Yes, one of the few days the whole year where it actually rained! Well, we made lemonade from lemons that rainy day. Watch for more from this wedding in our next blog post!
