Beautiful Savior Wedding
Joannie and I are very pleased to share some of Casey and Cassie’s Beautiful Savior wedding photographs with you! They were married last Saturday afternoon in Maple Grove, MN. It marked our first time photographing a wedding at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. With great staff and a wonderful facility, I do have to say it was a pleasure to create wedding photographs there.
We began our wedding photography coverage as we do at many of our weddings, with getting ready photos. And just like we did at James and Erin’s wedding at the White Bear Yacht Club a couple of weeks ago, we created a couple of “mini” light painted wedding photos using some of their wedding details.
This time, we included Casey and Cassie’s wedding rings, her grandmother’s ring, the invitation, Cassie’s bouquet, and also her cute shoes. We also light painted their wedding rings alone, with a pretty reflection of the bouquet. Both images were light painted on the beautiful glossy black grand piano in the sanctuary.
The First Look
Casey and Cassie’s first look was up next. Then, moments later, we created some of their pretty Beautiful Savior wedding photos using window light in the hallway next to the sanctuary. From there we moved into the sanctuary for wedding party photos, and their family portraits, along with some candid photos tossed in there too.
A really beautiful wedding ceremony followed. Before you knew it, Pastor Tom Stoebig announced that we had Minnesota’s “newest” newlyweds in our midst! Nice!
After a receiving line, their wedding guests gave them a flowery send-off, tossing rose petals in the air as Casey and Cassie left the church.
More To Come
We’ve got the first of Casey and Cassie’s two highlight music videos below. This one includes the wedding photography leading up to and including their Beautiful Savior wedding ceremony. In the days ahead we will have wedding photos from their fabulous wedding reception at the Solar Arts Building in Minneapolis, MN.
And wait until you see the cool light painted wedding photograph that we came up with this time! All coming in the days ahead! Thank you for reading our post and have a great one! – M&J
