The Best Wedding Photographs of 2012 – The Finale!

Here’s the finale pages to our beautiful new studio wedding photography album featuring The Best Wedding Photographs of 2012!

Yes, it”s a big book and it could easily have been much larger as several more weddings could have been included. Joannie and I have been very blessed to be a husband and wife wedding photography team. Not everyone can work together and live together too! A lot of the credit goes to Joannie as it’s pretty much a given that I “married up”!

The final pages of this wonderful wedding album come from where it started! Yes, the book cover wedding images; both the front and back sides; are from the fabulous Fall wedding of Bryce and Kelly. Their wedding day was really, really fun, quite special and very unique. I cannot recall in our twenty-seven years of wedding photography ever taking wedding photographs in a dense fog! You can view the entire wedding day highlights here and here.

Their wedding locations were very cool all on their own, a very pretty “classic” catholic church in St. Mark’s in Shakopee, MN and the always terrific Brackett’s Crossing in Lakeville, MN. Then there’s the images of the wedding party hanging out and having a lot of fun by the parked trains in downtown Shakopee.

But the really unique part of the day had to be the little stop we made with the whole wedding party at the family farm of Kelly’s parents in Prior Lake, MN. Here’s where it got really “interesting.” We had fog, mist, then light rain, ladders and climbing ladders in a wedding dress and finally the boys playing basketball with a pumpkin as the basketball!

Oh, and let’s not forget, the tractor Kelly’s dad made out of hay bales! We had lots of fun with that prop. Thanks dad! Nothing like it before and probably NEVER like it again. It was a “Wedding Photographic Event” we’ll never forget!
