It’s time to share Mina and Kerstina’s Minneapolis Marriott Southwest wedding reception photos!
At the conclusion of their wedding ceremony, which was held at St. Mary’s Coptic Orthodox Church in South St. Paul, we photographed the families, the wedding party, and the newlyweds at the altar.

Once we finished up at St. Mary’s, we departed for Mina and Kerstina’s beautiful Minneapolis Marriott Southwest wedding reception. It really was beautiful too! The main ballroom was absolutely stunning!
Some of my favorite Minneapolis Marriott Southwest wedding reception pictures are of the pretty ballroom decor. From the table centerpieces to the linens and chair covers, it was beautiful!

Let The Party Begin!
During the social hour, Joannie took fun candids of wedding guests while I got all set up and photographed the pretty ballroom. The Grand March was up next and the wedding party really ramped it up! Each couple went “freestyle” for their entry into the ballroom. With Mina and Kerstina making their grand entrance through a wedding party “tunnel’!

Dinner Is Served
A wonderful dinner was up next. During dinner, there were several nice toasts and some fun candid photos of guests visiting with our newlyweds. Then Mina and Kerstina cut their pretty wedding cake. All the while, guests were having fun visiting and taking pictures of each other with their phones.

Dance The Night Away
Mina and Kerstina’s first dance was up next, followed my Kerstina and her father’s dance. Then the dance floor was wide open – and packed! I often say at our weddings that the dance floor was full, and many times it is for a short time. Not the case here. It was really full! Even after we took Mina and Kerstina outside for photos, we came back to see the dance floor was still rocking!

The World’s Only Light Painting Wedding Photographers
Yes, once we had the dance photos covered, Joannie and I took Mina and Kerstina outside to create their one-of-a-kind Minneapolis Marriott Southwest Light Painting. The spot I selected was on the patio in the hotel’s “backyard” so-to-speak. I’m still working on the post-production and I’ll be sharing it with you very soon.
