Faith Lutheran Church Wedding of Kyle and Kara
Joannie and I had the honor of being the wedding photographers at another totally awesome wedding! Our longtime dance friend Kara Anderson married Kyle Bode last Saturday at their Faith Lutheran Church wedding in Coon Rapids, MN.

We’ve known Kara and her family since she was about four years old as she and our Jen danced together for many, many years. Then Kara became a dance choreographer for our Michelle in the last years of Michelle’s dance career!
Saturday’s weather was just about as nice a day as you could ask for! Kara was stunning with one of the prettiest wedding dresses ever! For the record, Kyle “The King”, as nice a guy as you’ll ever meet, looked really great too.
A few months ago, we took their fun engagement portraits on fire trucks in St. Paul. Well, firefighting was the underlying wedding theme here too! The decorations, the garter, the cake, everywhere there was firefighting themed!
Kara’s mom is a pastor and married her daughter to Kyle in a beautiful, emotional and extra special ceremony. She only cried a little bit! Amazing.
As a husband and wife wedding photography team, Joannie & I really do love to photograph weddings and we are truly honored when a couple chooses us to capture their wedding day memories.
It’s icing on the cake when someone you know selects us as to be there for them.
I can’t put into words what it means to us professionally, but it really is extra special for us personally.
