Wedding photographs at Dave & Gina’s Minneapolis Profile Event Center wedding last Saturday!
With a 70% chance of thunderstorms predicted for most of the day last Saturday, we were more than a little worried about this wedding day right from the start. But as luck would have it, it was a really great day for a wedding weather wise. We had a nice overcast sky, comfortable temperatures, and an occasional gentle breeze. All of the rain went around Minneapolis until after dark. Nice!
Joannie and I have done Minneapolis Profile Event Center wedding photography before, but every time it’s either been winter or nighttime by the time we’ve arrived there. So it was nice to be able to be outside and use the cute patio area as a backdrop for Dave & Gina’s wedding photographs.
We did the majority of Dave & Gina’s wedding photos right there on the patio. Starting with their first look, bride & groom portraits, wedding party photos, wedding candid photos and lots and lots of family portrait combinations.
The sun even popped out for a little bit causing the two “adorable” wedding photographers a little trouble lighting wise. Hey, that’s us!
Official Newlyweds
With the wedding ceremony time approaching and guests about to arrive, we hid Gina and got all set up inside for their ceremony. It was a cute ceremony, with some laughter and some tears. Just the way you like it to be. And best of all Dave and Gina got married!!
A short time after the conclusion of their wedding ceremony, Joannie and I “stole” Dave & Gina and took just the two of them back outside for a little quiet time. We wanted to create some fun wedding photographs of just them.
We didn’t really have the chance to do much of that before the ceremony time-wise, so Joannie & I felt that we were really kind of “short” on bride & groom images. Not after our little stroll with the King & Queen! This was about as productive as we could be in just 15 to 20 minutes!
We took some fun candids and then pretty images of them right there on the front lawn at the Profile Event Center. Then we walked just down the block to a warehouse area to create the wedding images I like to create the most: “posing with attitude!” What a fun time with just the two of them and these “extra” wedding images will be enjoyed forever!
Back To The Reception
Not wanting to keep them away from their guests too long, we cut them loose to go back and visit while Joannie and I set up our lighting for the dinner and dancing to come.
Our wedding highlight video concludes with some of the wedding reception festivities and some fun dance images too.
We hope you’ve enjoyed seeing Dave & Gina’s Minneapolis Profile Event Center wedding photographs as much as we enjoyed creating them. Thank you, Dave & Gina, for asking us to be there for you to capture your fun wedding day!
