Minneapolis City Hall Wedding
It’s time to share some of Chris and Becky’s Minneapolis City Hall wedding photography. These two newlyweds got married in a really sweet ceremony a couple of Sundays ago. This was our second time at the famous building having photographed a wonderful wedding reception there a few years ago.

Chris and Becky’s wedding was very intimate with about 30 of their close family and friends in attendance. It was fun to watch Becky ascend the elegant marble staircase escorted by her father into the rotunda where Chris was waiting for her. And then, just a short time later they were married!

Just A “Couple” Of Family Photos
After a short receiving line, we photographed everyone in attendance on the very steps where Chris and Becky got married. Following that fun group photo, Joannie and I photographed “a few” combinations of family and friends. Well, maybe more than a few!

It was a wonderful Sunday afternoon in Minnesota. Weather-wise it was perfect outside! So after all of the family photographs, Joannie and I took our newlyweds outside. We didn’t have to go far, actually right outside the front door at Minneapolis City Hall! We made some great wedding images of Chris and Becky there and also at the park right across the street.

The End At The Beginning
One of the reasons that Chris and Becky asked us to be their wedding photographers was because of our one-of-a-kind wedding light paintings. Because of the timing of their day, we decided weeks before the wedding that we would create their light painting before they got married.
Chris and Becky actually arrived together, so we got right to work creating their light painting at the start of their wedding day instead of at the end. It marked the first time we’ve ever done that. It’s always been our final image of the wedding day.
Once their unique wedding light painting is completed, we’ll be sharing it in another blog post. Please watch for that in a week or two.
