Lydia, Alayna & Santa Claus!
By popular demand, Joannie & I brought Santa Claus back from the North Pole to greet ten more lucky kids before Christmas!
The first of our encore Heirloom Santa Claus Portraits was with two adorable sisters; four-year-old Lydia and one and a half-year-old Alayna. Miss Lydia took no time to warm up to Santa Claus, Miss Alayna, however, took much longer! In fact, she never knowingly let her guard down around Kris Kringle. Grandma Mary had to gently coax Alayna into the scene and that took some time, but it was worth it! Lydia was an awesome big sister. She did her best to make her little sister happy, to the point that there was even a smile or two!
Santa Claus read “The Night Before Christmas” to the girls and both girls enjoyed their Storytime with Santa Claus. Santa Claus even shared his magic book and his magic toy bag with the girls too! Once again, Santa was kind enough to allow Elf Michael to capture his magic dust in the camera for these two pretty little ladies.
Lydia shared her Christmas wishes with Santa Claus, Miss Alayna not so much. It was so much fun to witness this fun time in the girls 2016 holiday season. Our Santa Claus highlight music video does a beautiful job of telling the story of their special time with Santa Claus. Enjoy!
“Storytime with Santa Claus” for Cystic Fibrosis
Our 2016 “Storytime with Santa Claus” themed portraits helped us to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis this year. Our Session Fee of $75 was donated entirely to Cystic Fibrosis, with our wonderful clients writing their checks directly to CF.
In addition, Joannie & I will be donating a large portion of their custom print orders to CF as well. It’s our small way of helping to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.
Our godchild, Lindsey, has Cystic Fibrosis and just in late October, Lindsey received a double lung transplant at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis. We’re happy to report that Lindsey is now home from the hospital and is recuperating very nicely.
So this year, all of the monies we’ve raised this year will be given to Cystic Fibrosis in Lindsey’s honor. Let’s hope they can find a cure for CF soon!
During each fun-filled Santa photo session, kids got to visit with Santa Claus for about 30 minutes while reading books, singing songs and hanging out with Kris Kringle. Santa gave presents to each child and there for treats for young and old alike to enjoy while they were here.
These 2016 Heirloom Santa Claus Portraits will be cherished for generations to come. – M&J
