Here are just a few of Maegan’s pretty Champlin Park High School senior portraits created on the north shore of Lake Superior.
Meagan and her mom joined us on our 21st annual “North Shore Weekend” this year. They drove up to Lake Superior with Tori and her mom, Renae, and spent several hours with us at Split Rock Lighthouse State Park, our “secret” location, Gooseberry Falls State Park and finally in Two Harbors, MN.
We took turns photographing Maegan and Tori at each location. We also did a few images of the two of them together as well. They are both on Champlin Park’s varsity hock team together. We will be doing some green screen senior sports composites with them back in the studio soon.
That Monday was a little breezy and very sunny with no cloud cover, so we limited our time at Split Rock Lighthouse State Park and pretty much stayed in the woods most of our time there.
Gooseberry Falls was a nice stop, albeit crowded, with lots of water flowing over the falls after all of the rain the days before.
We also made a stop at our “secret location” on the north shore (image at the top of the page). We spent the most time there due to the lack of wind and the shade from the trees near Lake Superior.
In Two Harbors, Maegan broke out the sports gear! First hockey,
and this cute outfit too! A very nice finish to a very fun senior portrait session.
Thank you, Maegan, for coming “up north” with us for your Champlin Park High School senior portraits!
