Save The Date!
The day after Nick & Stacey’s fun Chanhassen Dinner Theater wedding, I spent part of a very unseasonably warm Sunday afternoon with John, Lindsay, and their dog Lambeau (they might be Packer fans?), along with Lindsay’s parents (the Lambeau sitters) creating their engagement portraits at Willow River State Park in Wisconsin.
This was my first time visiting Willow River State Park. I must say that I’d really like to go back there sometime. It’s a pretty state park and even though the Green Bay Packers on this warm Sunday afternoon, it was a really busy Wisconsin State Park too!

None had us having ever been at Willow River State Park before. So we just looked at the park map and chose a couple of spots that looked like they might work out for engagement photos. The two locations we chose worked out pretty well. We were looking for some fall color and some shade on this very sunny, warm Sunday afternoon in October.

Hot Dog!
I’m not so sure that Lambeau was enjoying the heat very much. But I know he loved all the sights, sounds and smells like any dog would! We took several walks throughout the woods with Lambeau “leading” the way, actually “pulling the way” would be a more accurate description. He’s just a puppy after all! We also got to visit a bit here and there and had a nice time together on one of the last really warm days of the year.
