Nicole’s Girls Basketball Green Screen Composite

Here’s a little post-holiday portrait fun, a North Saint Paul Girls Basketball Green Screen Composite with our niece Nicole.

Yesterday, I had a little creative fun in the Green Screen Portrait Studio with our cute niece Nicole. Nicole is an avid basketball fan (a huge understatement) and a player on the North Saint Paul High School Girls Varsity Basketball team. Her brother Brandon, is home from college in Duluth and was kind enough to drive her to the studio so that we could create this with his sister as the star.

Here’s what we came up with, both before:

“I live for this!”

…and after some Photoshop fun:

“I live for this!”

While I cannot take the credit for the concept, my week long class on Green Screen Compositing Techniques last spring with a world renowned photographer is paying big dividends. I came away from that class thinking my head was going to explode I had so many ideas and techniques bouncing around inside my brain!

I’ve got more ideas for other team sports too! In addition to dance, baseball, hockey & football, of which we’ve done some pretty fun things already, I’m also looking for an entire basketball team (boys or girls) to try this theme out, so if you know of one that might be interested, please have them call the studio at 763-785-1177. I’m also looking for girls softball and boys baseball teams too for another idea I have!

Thanks for reading this and have a Happy New Year! – M&J
