I had the pleasure of creating Brycen & Aleks engagement portraits on one of the last really beautiful fall days of the color season. With temperatures in the 60’s and very light winds, it made for a wonderful engagement session by the Mississippi River in downtown Minneapolis, MN.
Brycen & Aleks will be getting married on the North Shore of Lake Superior at Grand Superior Lodge next September. And Joannie & I are really looking forward to being their wedding photographers up north!
A quiet moment on St. Anthony Main.
We took a nice leisurely stroll along the riverfront stopping whenever we found a great photo spot. That was fairly often on this beautiful fall afternoon. Aleks and Brycen tossed in a couple of outfit changes along the way too. I really didn’t want their engagement photo session to end as I knew it would be one of the last beautiful days like this for a long, long time.
Brycen is a Minnesota Vikings season ticket holder. So for their closing engagement photos, they both wore their Minnesota Vikings jerseys. From our vantage point, we were even able to capture a couple of their images with the top of the US Bank Stadium in the distant background too! Cool!

Aleks and Brycen, thank you for a great time enjoying the fall colors on St. Anthony Main together. I had a great time with you guys and I wish we could bottle up the perfect day and keep it for a while, like until next May!
