Tawnya and Adam were married in a beautiful ceremony last Saturday, May 31st at Faith Lutheran Church in Coon Rapids, MN!

Joannie and I again had the tremendous honor of being the photographers for another close friends’ wedding, the second in just two weeks, as a longtime friend (and darned near our own daughter) Tawnya Rusin married her sweetheart Adam Boelter this past Saturday.
A Beautiful Bride
We’ve known Tawnya since she was a little girl. We met her and her family when she was a dancer with our girls, Jen and Michelle, for more than 15 years at Stage Door in Coon Rapids! We’ve been on dance trips together on many, many occasions throughout the years, Tawnya has even been to Walt Disney World (more than once) with her “Uncle Mike” and our “World Famous Card Club.” That’s when you know you’re family!

Getting Ready Photos At Home
We begin this fun wedding day adventure with a stop at Tawnya’s parents home in Ham Lake, MN and some really pretty wedding photos of Tawnya’s beautiful dress and also many of her wedding details too!

Shortly thereafter, the girls arrived via limo from the beauty salon and this wonderful wedding day really got started! Lots of fun with a tasty brunch and final hair and make up tweaks before heading to Faith Lutheran Church Coon Rapids.
The First Looks
Once everyone arrived at the church, it was time to get ready for this wedding day! Final preparations were followed by the “first looks” with Tawnya’s dad Mark, and her brother Nick, and then by the “The King” himself, Adam! Tawnya looked so pretty in her beautiful wedding gown!

Part One of Tawnya and Adam’s wedding highlight video continues with lots of formal family and wedding party portraits showcasing the most important people in their lives.
By this time, as most of us in the Twin Cities area know, it was raining cats and dogs outside! I have to hand it to Tawnya and Adam. It didn’t seem to faze them that their wedding day was going to be a very soggy one!
It’s Raining, It’s Pouring!
Once their formal portraits were concluded, it was time for the wedding ceremony to begin! It was so fun for me to watch Tawnya and her dad pass by going down the aisle. It brought back vivid memories of when a got to walk my Jen down the aisle almost three years ago.
One of my favorite memories of this wonderful wedding day was when the minister was saying “by the power vested in me…”. A huge clap of thunder could be heard by everyone! It was if God was making sure we knew that He approved this marriage too! Very cool.
